Just bought the game about 2 hours ago, and spent 'em playing this game. This is, by far, the best racing game on the iPhone. Had some trouble with sensitivity, but cranked it up to 65% (and moved the braking assist down to 35%) - the game is a whole lot better that way - and now it's just about perfect.
I do have a PSP laying around somewhere in my house. Bought Gran Turismo as soon as it came out, and sold it 3 days later because it was not good enough, and here comes Gameloft, once again copying a successful formula and delivering. However, I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever see an original IP by Gameloft, or at least a game that doesn't complete copy another one (you know, just grabbing some elements here and there, not the whole thing). I love the games they've made -most of them, anyway - but I can't help feeling kinda "dirty", playing such a carbon copy of another game... |
